Psyche’s second task in the tale of Psyche and Eros involves learning patience and appropriate timing for action. The reeds council her to avoid direct confrontation with the solar rams. She is to go at twilight and to collect only the strands of fleece that are caught in the bramble thickets. She will need only enough masculine energy to establish communication with the masculine world. |
